Stephen+Sonya {Anniversary}

I had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights visiting with my brother and sister-in-law, and we were able to have spend some time doing some pictures for their first anniversary. It was so much fun walking around their hometown and doing some relaxed portraits of them in their wedding clothes. I love them both so much, and am so blessed to have them in my life. I miss you guys, but was so glad we got a little time together!

My brother gets his good looks from me ;)

Groblers {Family} – Easter 2012

I get to nanny these adorable little people every day. It was such fun to spend some time at the river, playing, and doing some Easter family photos. They were some of the best little people I have photographed, but maybe I am a little biased ;)

Rachel+Chris {couples}

Every now and then my photographer friend Hailey and I like to have photoshoots to add to our portfolios. Normally we end up having to use each other as models, which is great, but when you get two excited photographers together, it is hard for either one of us to sit still long enough to pose. I contacted Hailey with an idea for a more editorial style session at the Southeastern Railway Museum, which is home to many trains, from all different eras. We got the fabulous Rachel and Chris to model for us, and spent an amazing two hours exploring and photographing to our hearts content. I would love to do some engagement sessions here, there was so much we didn’t even get to see! In fact, someone needs to let me plan their wedding, and they can have it in one of the gorgeous 40s era train cars. Anyone volunteer? ;) Again, thank you Rachel and Chris for being our fabulous models! You guys were good sports (Rachel even got several phone calls asking if they had gotten engaged after I posted a sneak peek on FB!) and I love these images, it was just so hard to choose. McPherson {family} 11.11

I got to spend a beautiful, fun, fall morning at the park with this wonderful family earlier this month. Their oldest was in my Pre-K class once upon a time, and it has been a joy to watch them grow up. I loved the shots from this photoshoot, and it was so hard to pick out my favorites. Here are just a few!

Hadley {kids} 11.11

I have known this sweet little girl since she was one, and it has been wonderful to watch her grow into a funny, bright girl…She is also one of the best behaved kids I have ever known, and it was so fun to hang out and take pictures with her while baby Graham was getting ready for his pictures.

We also had storytime during the photoshoot. I am a full service photographer ;)

“Miss Bekah I’m taking YOUR picture now!”

Graham {babies} 11.11

Graham’s big sister was in my very first class when I taught at a preschool, when she was only 1. I did their family pictures last year, and I was so excited to hear this year that Hadley was going to have a baby brother. I met up with them for a few family pictures, and then hung out in the most adorable nursery ever for some baby pictures. Dr. Seuss holds a special place in my heart and I was in heaven with all the incredible decor. This saying just happens to be one of my favorites, so of course this was my first shot of Graham.

(Cat in the Hat sheets? YES please)

Cat in the Hat+Graham’s tiny almost matching tuxedo makes this so incredibly cute

Serious baby faces make me smile :)

(His mom did his entire room in a wonderful mural type design like this by hand)

Bankers {family} 10.11

The Bankers are hands down my favorite people that live in Franklin, TN. I love visiting them, the trips are always filled with many dress up games, snuggles with an adorable baby munchkin man, jammin to good music, following people we think are celebrities but turn out to be completely innocent people that happen to look like Nicole Kidman (it was totally Suzanne’s fault), crafting, pumpkin carving, cheesy potatoes, and great heart to hearts. I love David and Suzanne’s little family, and they always make me feel so welcome. I had a whirlwind trip to Nashville at the end of October, and we managed to squeeze in a ridiculously fun photoshoot. Thanks guys for having me!

Asher was like Sure! Stick me in a tote! TOTALLY COOL! (love that baby)

Sweet girl!

Gorgeous Mama

Love these peeps

Seriously? How. Cute. Is. He?!

Needless to say I cannot wait to go back to Nashville!

Trammells {family} 10.11

I love this crazy family. We did their family pictures at the same time as the Peyer family session. They made me laugh way more than I normally do,  and it was a blast to hang out and take some pictures!

Wait for it…

Those poor girls put up with a lot :)

Love you Trammells!

Alexandra {babies} 10.11

Alexandra arrived 5 weeks early, and I was able to meet her right around her actual due date. Her mom is a sweet friend of mine, and it was so fun to catch up and get a few quick shots of her new tiny baby. Congratulations Jenna and Scott, she is beautiful!

Love her eyes!

I got to meet her sweet grandparents who were in town for a visit, perfect timing!

This is by far, my favorite of the entire shoot

Pretty sure her baby thought process here was “Sigh, what are these people doing with me?” :)

Family!

Peyer {family} 10.11

I met this wonderful family a little over a year ago. Coincidence crossed our paths, and now I couldn’t imagine my life without their constant love, prayers, and support. We spent a fun Saturday taking pictures, going on a hayride, and picking out the very best pumpkins at the pumpkin farm. It was a great start to the fall season!
